 We are very proud to present our Day Of The Assistent 2017! This will take place in Antwerp on Saturday the 9th of December. This year, we have invited experienced speakers to learn us more about cleft lip and palate. We organized an interesting scientific program followed by an entertaining social program and nice dinner for ENT-residents. Please find more information in the attachment. This symposium aims to discuss and clarify the interdisciplinary approach for patients with a peripheral facial paralysis. Several questions will be answered in the morning, concerning the management in the acute setting, when to refer the patient, electrodiagnostics, staging of the paralysis, treatment with mime therapy, botulinum toxine or surgery, and tips and tricks for the patient and his family. This will be followed by a practical workshop in the afternoon. Using videocases, some revalidation skills are trained and treatment options are discussed. Target audience: medical doctors (general practitioners, otorhinolaryngologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, etc.) and paramedics (speech therapists and physiotherapists).
