Zoals de titel het zegt, is dit symposium in de eerste plaats gericht op de specialisten van morgen.   Beroepsactief zijn als arts-specialist in België veronderstelt niet alleen een gedegen kennis van de algemene en specialistische geneeskunde, maar ook een goed inzicht in het juridische, wettelijke, sociale en professionele kader waarin men zich bevindt.   Waar sta je als arts in de ziekenhuisorganisatie, hoe zit het Belgische gezondheidssysteem in elkaar, hoe functioneert de nomenclatuur, welke verzekeringen bestaan er voor artsen, wat zijn de do’s en don’ts bij het opstellen van associatiecontracten…? Het zijn vragen die elke specialist in opleiding zich wel eens stelt en waar het VBS met zijn symposium van 10 maart een antwoord hoopt op te kunnen geven. 



 Le GBS organise, le samedi 10 mars 2012, une matinée d'étude intitulée “Aide à l'orientation professionnelle du candidat spécialiste…”. Ce symposium est ouvert à tous les médecins spécialistes même s'il s'adresse en priorité aux médecins spécialistes de demain.   Nul besoin de souligner l'importance d'être bien préparé à l'entame de votre carrière. L'exercice d'une activité de médecin spécialiste en Belgique requiert non seulement une solide connaissance de la médecine spécialisée mais également de bonnes notions de l'environnement juridique, légal, social et professionnel dans lequel on se situe.   Quelle est la place du médecin au sein de l'organisation hospitalière? En quoi consiste le système de santé belge? Comment la nomenclature fonctionne-t-elle? Quelles assurances existe-t-il pour les médecins? Que convient-il de faire ou de ne pas faire au moment de conclure un contrat d'association? Voilà des questions que tout médecin spécialiste en formation est amené à se poser et auxquelles le GBS compte apporter une réponse dans le cadre de son symposium du 10 mars 2012.   Les participants reçoivent une clé USB avec les différentes présentations du symposium ainsi qu'une attestation de présence accordant 2 credit points dans la rubrique Ethique et Economie.   Nous vous invitons très volontiers à ce symposium, gratuit pour les candidats spécialistes, qui se tiendra dans la salle Jacques Brel du Brussels 44 Center (boulevard du Jardin botanique 44, 1000 Bruxelles). ]]><![CDATA[VANKO's emergency course 15th October]]>Wed, 28 Sep 2011 04:17:08 -0800http://vanko.weebly.com/1/post/2011/09/vankos-emergency-course-15th-october.htmlDear VA-NKO members and other assistants, 

We are pleased to inform you that on Saturday 15/10/2011, the 3rd 
"VANKO's Emergency Course" will take place, which is this year supported by 
Stallergenes. 

This Emergency Course is aimed at first and second year residents and 
co-assistants to get acquainted with some important clinical issues that 
can 
be encountered at the emergency departement. However, most of the topics 
are 
still of interest for older residents and they are greatly encouraged to 
participate! 

The main aim of this morning work-shop is to give you the opportunity to 
interact with an experienced expert and to take part in some hands-on 
sessions. Therefore we work in 2 small groups.

When? : 15/10/11 from 9h00 till 14h00, including lunch.

Vacatureomschrijving 
De dienst voor Keel, Neus- en Oorheelkunde, Hoofd- en Halsheelkunde biedt een tijdelijk mandaat aan voor een resident, voor een periode van 1 jaar. De dienst heeft een drukke poliklinische en heelkundige activiteit, met een aparte (recent verbouwde) polikliniek voor volwassenen en kinderen in het Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel.
De dienst participeert actief in verschillende multidisciplinaire raadplegingen (o.a. schisisteam, multidisciplinaire oncologische consultatie, conventie mucoviscidose, KNO-pneumologische consultatie voor allergie, slaaplab). De staf is relatief jong en ambitieus. 

Wij vragen
U dient erkend te zijn als KNO-arts. Basiskennis van het Frans en het Engels vergemakkelijkt het contact met een niet onbelangrijk deel van onze patiënten. 
Naast deze communicatieve vaardigheden dient u uiteraard ook affiniteit met de patiënt te hebben, bereid zijn deel te nemen aan de wachten, en wetenschappelijke creativiteit te ontwikkelen. 

Wij bieden. 
Een aanstelling van 1 jaar (1 oktober 2011 tot 30 september 2012). Uw salaris kan voor een deel beïnvloed worden door eerdere ervaring (voor concrete informatie kan u terecht op de Personeelsdienst van de geneesheren 02/477 55 75). Naast het salaris ontvangt u ook een vergoeding voor uitgevoerde (oproepbare) wachtdiensten. U kunt genieten van goedkope maaltijden, gratis hospitalisatieverzekering en bijdrage tot de vervoerskosten.

The 1st Congress of the Confederation of the European ORL-HNS (EUFOS) is this year organized in Barcelona from July 2-6 2011.
