Amsterdam Course on Mastoid Obliteration and Surgery of the External Auditory Canal - March 31st - April 2nd 2015
After five years in Dutch with excellent reviews, the sixth edition of the Amsterdam course on mastoid obliteration and surgery of the external auditory canal is now available in English. In the fully equipped skillslab all practical skills will be teached needed to perform surgery on the external auditory canal, the ossicular chain and mastoid cavity, focussing on obliteration of the mastoid cavity with cartilage and hydroxyapatite granules. In the morning short theoretical lectures and structured videos will guide you through the various steps of surgery. Hands-on training on fresh frozen cadaver specimens (one cadaver head per registered otologist) is available in the afternoon.
