Dear VA-NKO members and other assistants, 

We are pleased to inform you that on Saturday 15/10/2011, the 3rd 
"VANKO's Emergency Course" will take place, which is this year supported by 
Stallergenes. 

This Emergency Course is aimed at first and second year residents and 
co-assistants to get acquainted with some important clinical issues that 
can 
be encountered at the emergency departement. However, most of the topics 
are 
still of interest for older residents and they are greatly encouraged to 
participate! 

The main aim of this morning work-shop is to give you the opportunity to 
interact with an experienced expert and to take part in some hands-on 
sessions. Therefore we work in 2 small groups. 


Where?: Crowne Plaza, Brussels airport, Da Vincilaan 4, 1831 Brussels 
When? : 15/10/11 from 9h00 till 14h00, including lunch.

Vacatureomschrijving 
De dienst voor Keel, Neus- en Oorheelkunde, Hoofd- en Halsheelkunde biedt een tijdelijk mandaat aan voor een resident, voor een periode van 1 jaar. De dienst heeft een drukke poliklinische en heelkundige activiteit, met een aparte (recent verbouwde) polikliniek voor volwassenen en kinderen in het Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel.
De dienst participeert actief in verschillende multidisciplinaire raadplegingen (o.a. schisisteam, multidisciplinaire oncologische consultatie, conventie mucoviscidose, KNO-pneumologische consultatie voor allergie, slaaplab). De staf is relatief jong en ambitieus. 

Wij vragen
U dient erkend te zijn als KNO-arts. Basiskennis van het Frans en het Engels vergemakkelijkt het contact met een niet onbelangrijk deel van onze patiënten. 
Naast deze communicatieve vaardigheden dient u uiteraard ook affiniteit met de patiënt te hebben, bereid zijn deel te nemen aan de wachten, en wetenschappelijke creativiteit te ontwikkelen. 

Wij bieden. 
Een aanstelling van 1 jaar (1 oktober 2011 tot 30 september 2012). Uw salaris kan voor een deel beïnvloed worden door eerdere ervaring (voor concrete informatie kan u terecht op de Personeelsdienst van de geneesheren 02/477 55 75). Naast het salaris ontvangt u ook een vergoeding voor uitgevoerde (oproepbare) wachtdiensten. U kunt genieten van goedkope maaltijden, gratis hospitalisatieverzekering en bijdrage tot de vervoerskosten.
