In the fully equipped skillslab all practical skills will be teached needed to perform surgery on the external auditory canal, the ossicular chain and mastoid cavity, focussing on obliteration of the mastoid cavity with cartilage and hydroxyapatite granules. In the morning short theoretical lectures and structured videos will guide you through the various steps of surgery. Hands-on training on fresh frozen cadaver specimens (one cadaver head per registered otologist) is available in the afternoon. Registrations are based on a first registered first served basis. The course fee (all lunches and course dinner included) is 1.750 euro.
