VA-NKO

Draaierigheids- en instabiliteitsklachten, zoals een ijl gevoel in het hoofd en duizeligheid (met misselijkheid en braakneigingen), komen regelmatig voor in de klinische praktijk. De oorzaak van dergelijke stoornissen is niet altijd te situeren in het evenwichtsorgaan of in de projecties van en naar het centrale zenuwstelsel.

‘Out of the box’ denken is dan ook belangrijk, bepaalde aandoeningen vereisen immers een multidisciplinaire diagnostische én therapeutische aanpak.

Het symposium ‘Evenwichtsstoornissen: een theoretische en praktische multidisciplinaire aanpak’ benadert deze problematiek vanuit verschillende ooghoeken. Via presentaties en workshops zullen experts uit binnen- en buitenland een deskundig licht werpen op de zaak:

The 2010 FESS Course in Ghent ended this weekend. Eminent foreign lecturers like Prof. Stammberger, Schaefer, Bernal-Sprekelsen and Hosemann helped out on the two dissection sessions. Participants came from all over the world and VA-NKO was also present with 5 members.

The 22nd International FESS course in Ghent is taking place from August 18 to 21, 2010.

This year, Prof. Heinz Stammberger will join the international faculty for 3 days.

VA-NKO members will have an additional reduction on the course fee.

The first French-speaking course in Belgium on functional endoscopic sinus surgery will be held February 3-5 2010 in Brussels (Hôpital Erasme) and Mons (UMons). Theoretical sessions, live surgeries and cadaver dissections are scheduled.

Le premier cours belge de chirurgie endoscopique des sinus en langue française aura lieu les 3, 4 et 5 février 2010 à Bruxelles (Hôpital Erasme) et à Mons (UMons). Le cours comportera des enseignements théoriques, des démonstrations opératoires et des dissections sur cadavre.
